Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships are funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and run by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC). They are for full-time master’s study starting in September 2027.
Who it’s for
- Citizens of, or refugees in, an eligible Commonwealth country, and permanently resident there
- At least an upper second-class (2:1) first degree, or a lower second plus a relevant postgraduate qualification
- Unable to afford UK study without the scholarship
- Available to start in September 2027
How to apply
The CSC does not accept direct applications. You apply through your country’s national nominating agency or an approved nominating body, which sets its own earlier deadline. The CSC closing date is 16:00 BST on Tuesday 20 October 2026.
