Gates Cambridge Scholarships cover the full cost of a full-time postgraduate degree at the University of Cambridge for applicants from any country outside the UK.
How to apply
You apply for the scholarship in the same application as your Cambridge course. For applicants outside the US, the deadline is 8 December 2026 or 6 January 2027, depending on your course’s funding deadline in the University Course Directory. US citizens resident in the US apply in the earlier round, which closes on 14 October 2026. All deadlines are 11:59pm UK time.
